The Stanford Undergraduate Materials Society aims to connect students from a variety of backgrounds who share an interest in material technologies and advancements. The many events hosted by the society provide opportunities for students across all majors and class years to mingle, and to learn more about offered resources, such as engineering projects and research labs. The society strives to build a collaborative network between students, faculty, and alumni, and to provide academic and career-oriented guidance to undergraduates pursuing a path in Materials Science & Engineering. We welcome all students to attend our events and to join SUMS to become part of our tight-knit community of scientists and engineers!
